The only thing I would ask the author is please x1000 write a 3rd book in the series I LOVED it, it is superb, if you haven’t read ‘The Journey’ yet you must and if you have I know already you will be reading this as soon as possible The book follows the characters lives from the point the book starts and each page is detailed in its adventure and realism We meet again with the main characters of ‘The Journey’ years on and in various locations, The Ukraine, Nigeria, The Uk and the Sahara and catch up with how good/bad life has treated them, some are much better off, some way worse but immediately I was back with these astonishingly real characters and living their various situations with them, the writing and atmospheric description has not changed in this book, it’s emotive, real and at times horrific but all of it is powerful ‘The Journey’ is a magnificent book detailing how families are trying to escape Nigeria and Boko Haram, I have never forgotten it and so to find out about ‘ The Journey Back’ was brilliant….but would it live up to expectations?….YES and more… I can honestly say I have never been so excited to find out unexpectedly about a sequel as I was when saw the post about this book An easy, fast-paced read!"
